Successfully mastering the digital transformation

In addition to the workshops described in detail below, I also host events on almost all digital specialist topics. These are particularly useful, for example, to procure specific, in-depth knowledge and facilitate detailed thought exchange or brainstorms. We will meet you on site at your request, in a workshop room provided by me or virtually in a video conference.

Virtual online workshops

 

COVID-19 has taught us that we have to remain flexible even under the most adverse restrictions, such as social distancing, in order to attain stability within a company and to continuously pursue projects. Digital formats such as online workshops, webinars and tutorials literally exploded during the pandemic and accelerated the digital transformation of our society.

Virtual online workshops can be designed to cover the mere basics, to involve the team interactively or as a classic lecture, depending on the digital ability of the participants and the preferred conference style.

 

As an online facilitator, I offer both the preparation of the content which will be moderated and the corresponding workshops for introduction and tutorials. Congruently, I see to the professional and technical implementation of the workshop and the documentation. Depending on the complexity and scope, I act as a co-moderator and as technical support.

Systematic Improvement:
Design Thinking Workshops

During the digital transformation journey, it is commonplace to face many complexities in the beginning phase. The prospect of application is vital, for the final client in B2C, the trader in B2B or internal employees in sales marketing or inside sales.

 

The users determine the offer, make demands on usability and necessary information and define the touchpoints and the communication channels. For them, we can jointly develop almost all products, services and processes throughout the digital transformation that are reliable, innovative and marketable. 

 

The systematic approach of Design Thinking requires the most accessible, collaborative and creative teamwork in the workshop. A company culture open to failure is just as important as a horizontal hierarchy collaboration in interdisciplinary teams

 

The diagram below shows the entire Design Thinking process that I carry out during the workshops. In my experience, less is more: refinement of a strategy or taking an idea and running with it can prove to quite successful.

The requirement workshop

A digital transformation is not complete without the evaluation and use of various technical systems. CRM and ERP systems are economically imperative, focusing mostly on customer data. CMS, analytics systems, marketing automation solutions, management solutions and monitoring search engines and social media are needed for digital communication and marketing. In addition, various eCommerce solutions within the sales department complete the whole picture.

 

Important criteria here are open interfaces, scalability, rights, data-integration options, usability and performance. They are comprehensive, while others are very specific. The variety is huge and the costs and resources are enormous. This is because it is crucial to select suitable solutions, implement them and introduce them through adequate training. Requirements workshops also bring stakeholders together and involved.

 

First, I work with you on the specifications of the upcoming tasks. This can be implemented by a customer-focused design thinking process or in a classic workshop format.

​

The final documentation of the professional and technical requirements profile has one central function: it is the basis for evaluating the future viability of existing systems or, if necessary, evaluating new systems.
